4. Reddish-yellow word

Which of the following words means reddish-yellow?

A) Fulvous ü
B) Glabrous
C) Glaucous
D) Parlous

The word fulvous is often used in names of species, such as the fulvous mouse, the fulvous owl and the fulvous whistling-duck. Glabrous means smooth or bald, though it is used of human heads only in jest. Glaucous is grayish-green; it is most often used of natural scenes, plants or animals, and also forms part of such species names as the glaucous macaw. Parlous is an antique form of perilous, but today it has a jocular tone and is apt to mean no more than awkward.
