Canada stretches from sea to sea to sea, with coastline on the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Oceans. Canada’s many islands add to the coastline, for a total of 202,080 km (125,567 mi.). Russia’s coastline is 37,653 km (23,396 mi.), Greenland’s is 44,087 km (27,394 mi.) and the United States has a mere 19,924 km (12,380 mi.), according to the CIA World Factbook. Of countries that have any coastline at all, the shortest is that of Monaco at 4.1 km (2.5 mi.).
